Cleveland Sirens Team Up with Playa Society for New Retail Collection
The new collection gives fans more ways to show their pride ahead of the team’s on-court debut in 2028.
CLEVELAND (August 4, 2026) – Today, Rock Entertainment Group (REG), the umbrella entity that houses Dan Gilbert’s sports and entertainment properties, including the Cleveland Cavaliers, unveiled the name and brand identity for Cleveland’s WNBA franchise: Cleveland Sirens.
CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Sirens today announced a new retail collaboration with Playa Society, the Black-women-owned sports-inspired streetwear company focused on supporting female athletes and inspiring social change. The collection includes a hoodie and T-shirt featuring the fan-favorite Sirens claw and basketball. These items will debut exclusively at Center Court at Pinecrest in Orange, Ohio beginning on Sunday, October 18. The collection will become available at Center Court in Rocket Arena as well as online at SirensTeamShop.com on Wednesday, October 21.
“Our fans showed up from day one since the moment we introduced the Sirens brand, and that enthusiasm has opened doors to partnerships with beloved brands like Playa Society,” said Allison Howard, President of Business Operations for the Cleveland Sirens.“Collaborating with women-owned businesses is core to how we are building the Sirens into a brand that gives back and invests in our communities. Every piece shows Cleveland’s pride and fuels the rise of women’s sports.”
The collection arrives on the heels of the Sirens’ official brand unveiling in August, which introduced the team’s primary logo and secondary elements, including the claw and basketball logo. The Sirens are the WNBA’s 16th expansion team and will make their on-court debut at Rocket Arena in 2028.
“The WNBA’s expansion reflects the incredible momentum behind women’s basketball, and we’re proud to be part of this exciting next chapter,” said Esther Wallace, Founder and Creative Director of Playa Society. “Playa Society has always been about giving women’s sports the attention and recognition they deserve, so we’re thrilled to welcome the Cleveland Sirens to the league and celebrate the return of women’s basketball to Cleveland. By bringing to life the Sirens logo with a hand-drawn sketch, we wanted to create something that celebrates the team’s new beginning.”
